Free heat pump training with HPIN

The HPIN Academy is a dedicated training facility at our head office in Essex.

Working closely with industry-leading manufacturers Ideal Heating and Daikin, we can offer heat pump training across the UK. Wherever you’re based, you can access high-quality training and the support you need to start installing heat pumps with confidence. Our courses place a strong focus on practical knowledge that can be applied on real installations.

Our BPEC Level 3 Heat Pump Course is available free of charge when you register using the code HPINOFFER. This course provides the core knowledge required to begin working with heat pump systems, covering key topics such as system design principles, installation considerations and commissioning.

For engineers who prefer more flexible learning, we also offer online training. You can build your knowledge at your own pace and fit training around your work schedule.

BPEC Level 3 Domestic Air Source Heat Pumps

This is a nationally recognised qualification in the installation and maintenance of air source heat pump systems. The qualification is recognised by MCS registration bodies as an acceptable qualification to join one of their respective schemes.

Our purpose-built training centre is designed to give you real, practical experience with heat pump systems. Inside our dedicated training bays and classrooms, you’ll find a range of leading heat pump brands installed and fully operational, allowing you to work on equipment just as you would in a customer’s home. From system setup and commissioning to fault finding and optimisation, you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience in a supportive learning environment guided by experienced trainers.

Can’t make it to our training centre in person?

No problem. Many of our courses are also available online, so you can learn at your own pace and fit training around your schedule. Whether you prefer to study in the evening, between jobs, or over a weekend, our online modules give you the flexibility to build your knowledge whenever it suits you.
