Frequently asked questions
What about future servicing and warranty work?
Any repairs associated to the installation, you would be asked to rectify (e.g. venting of air, system set up etc). Any product fault will be dealt with by Ideal Heating heat pump engineers who carry a full van stock of spares.
HPIN do not undertake service work. An annual service is a requirement of the Logic Air warranty and you are free to organise that and manage with the customer directly.
I’m worried HPIN will take my customers that I pass leads on.
Any lead you pass will be your install if the job goes ahead. It will never be passed to another installer unless you decline the work. customer directly.
What training is required and available?
Full details are included within the online application process but mostly include;
- A valid heat pump qualification
- A valid water regulations qualification
- A valid hot water systems (G3) qualification
Any of the above can be completed at either an Ideal Heating Expert Academy, HPIN Academy or any training centre of your choice. Ideal and HPIN provide funded and very low cost, high quality options for all qualifications.
Logic Air installation and commissioning training is required. Based on your experience you can complete this in centre, for experienced ASHP installers an online version is also available. Should you attend with is to complete your heat pump qualification, product training is included within the training programme
